Renovate America is a home improvement financer that works with homeowners and contractors across the United States. When it comes to installing synthetic grass, there are two financing programs that homeowners can choose from, which are HERO and Benji.

HERO Financing

The HERO Financing option through Renovate America is the nation’s largest Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) financing provider. PACE is a “home improvement financing option that makes it easier to go solar and pay for energy-efficient and water conservation upgrades,” according to their website.

Approval for the HERO program is based on more than just the homeowner’s credit score; it’s also based on home equity, product eligibility, household income, and debt payment history. Another reason why HERO is such a great program is that interest on payments can be tax deductible, if eligible.

HERO has flexible term lengths and will compare its rates to other similar financing options and offer clients the most competitive price possible. Homeowners pay their fixed rates alongside their property taxes, and there is no money down required. The best perk about HERO is that the program gives homeowners the final say, as they won’t need to start paying until they sign off that they are satisfied with the project!  

Benji Financing

Renovate America’s Benji Financing Option offers homeowners competitive fixed rates and requires no money down. Homeowners also won’t start paying until they have signed off that they are happy with the results of the project.

With Benji, homeowners can choose from multiple term length options and can finance anywhere from $2,000 to $50,000, based on credit approval. Applicants can also get approval for financing within minutes depending on credit score. Benji does not look into home equity for eligibility, so homeowners can finance with Benji for almost any home upgrade. Financing with Benji also starts with three easy steps: plan the project, pair with a contractor, and apply for Benji online.
